Which shade of Baebrow Instant Eyebrow Tint is right for me?

Honestly, this requires a bit of explanation. Bear with us. We’ll figure it out together.

Black: Let’s get the easy one out of the way. This shade will suit you if you’ve got very dark brown or black hair, whether it’s warm or cool in tone. It’s the darkest of the bunch and will give the most dramatic result. If you’re not after that look, and you don’t have very very dark hair, steer clear. Use in combination with Dark Brown if you’re wanting a deeper, multi-tonal effect.

Dark Brown: This one is a neutral toned dark brown, leaning on the cooler side. If you’ve got blonde, light brown or mid-brown hair, this is your best bet. Remember, you can vary the result by the amount of time you leave the tint on for. Five minutes will give you a more subtle look than 10 minutes. This is also the best shade for warm-toned dark hair. Use in combination with Black or Graphite if you’re after a more dramatic result. Graphite will add an ashier tone, Black will just offer more depth.

Graphite: This is an ashy grey-black shade, best suited for cool-toned hair from blonde to dark. It’s pretty universal, but doesn’t suit very pale blonde or translucent brows on its own. If that’s you, you’ll want to opt for the Dark Brown + Graphite Duo - the brown colour will counteract any potential weirdness in terms of undertones. If your hair is ash blonde or cool-toned brunette, this is your best bet.

How do I use Baebrow Instant Eyebrow Tint?

Good news: this is much easier to use than most eyebrow tints. Let’s break it down, for maximum clarity and minimum fuss.

First, you’ll want to start with brows. Wash your face with a non-oily cleanser, and if you’d like, you can border your eyebrows with something like Vaseline. The tint will obviously only go where you put it, but if you’d like to be certain, the option is there.

Then, apply the tint you’ve chosen to your brows with the applicator in the tube. Spread it through so you can be sure you’re catching all the hairs you want to colour - some people prefer to use a small angled brush for a more precise shape, and comb through with a clean spoolie after. You can also tidy up with a damp cotton bud.

Now: the waiting game. This is where, if you’re a first-timer, things might get mildly terrifying. Breath, focus, we’re right there with you. You’ll want to let your tint develop for at least 5 minutes and up to 10 - less time will mean a less dramatic result, more time will give you a more intense brow.

Last up, you’ll want to remove the tint with a damp cotton bud. Sweep out towards the edge of your face, and breathe a sigh of relief as you see that in fact, your brows look normal and good.

Make sure you do a patch test before your first use, especially if you've got very light eyebrows or sensitive skin.

Who is Baebrow Instant Eyebrow Tint for?

Do you have eyebrows, and would you like them to make a little more impact? This tint could well be for you. It’s easy to use, since there’s nothing to mix, and between the three shades, most brow colours are covered. The only thing to note is that since it’s a gentle formula, grey hairs might not get 100% coverage.
